This is an interesting auction...

Maybe I'm just bored, but I couldn't help mentioning this auction I just came across. It's amazing that from all those "cases of 1978 wax boxes" he recently opened that all he was able to put together was one Ex/mt set. But what a deal...for just $150 you get to pick which star card you want thrown in with all your commons!

He's actually put together 3 sets - advertised as NM-MT overall.

Based on how much he has overgraded the star cards shown, I wouldn't touch that auction with a ten foot pole.

    I'm trying ....
Just sent in a group of 77 and got all 8s and 9s (Did get a PSA 9 Steve Stone)
I see you're almost at 60% in 10 - that set is utterly amazing. And again - you could finish up with 9's and still have a set that no one will ever equal, IMO
  • He gives the Murray an '8' for centering and corners? I'd hate to see what he calls a 7 or worse.
