OT: Attention Bird Nerds - Peregrine Falcon Webcam

The company I work for does a lot of Streaming Media broadcasts and we just installed a webcam in the nesting box of a pair of Peregrine Falcons located in downtown Boise, Idaho.

Edited to add: Until they lay eggs (any day now), the live stream can be pretty boring. Most of the activity currently occurs in the morning and evening hours.

On the US 25C it is. The official state bird of Idaho is the Mountain Bluebird.
It should be the Peregrine, but at the time Idaho was doling out state critters, the Peregrine was almost extinct.

The Idaho quarter is one of my favorite designs. Very cool looking bird and some sort of cool Latin motto - esto perputa or something like that - "is forever?" Where is Dr. Google when you need him...

I think she is going to start laying eggs today. She has been spending more time at the nest lately working on a spot to lay them.

Take a look now. She has finally started to lay eggs. We should see some chicks in about 28 days.

Thats pretty cool thanks. We have something similar near where I live. A live Osprey cam (10am -5pm)
