Do "Milk Spots" plague world silver bullion like SAE's?

The problem of milk spots on SAE's is well documented on various threads on the US Coin forum but are milk spots as common on world silver bullion or are they primarily a US problem?image

Good Question. If someone really wanted to solve the milk spot question,
it would make sense to compare the US minting process to another country
that has experienced no problems. Find out what is different and it could help
    answer the question.

All I can say is I have 80 ounces of foreign silver bullion coins and there isn't a single milkspot on one of them.

i was just going to say the same thing. boy did we go through a lot
of them a few months back and they were terrible. it seems like
every other sheet of 10 had at least one milk spotted coin in it let
alone some sheets of 10 that were awful.

Good question. And I have another related one. How do people store their silver (primarily bars), especially if they come from the mint in PVC? Wouldn't it make sense to get them out of the toxic PVC and into something like mylar? Which begs the question, are safe holders/containers available not made of PVC for different bars? I've seen hard mylar cases for the 1 oz. bars, but nothing bigger. Are food-safe ziplocs good enough (as far as I know, food quality bags don't contain PVC)?

Yep. Also have gone through many rolls of Libertads and seen milk spots on quite of few of them too.
