For those Canadian Large Cent collectors

Canadian Coin News has an article this month on a new 1859 Large Cent Variety.... Here is the link to the site... http://www.canadiancoinnews.ca/
If anyone has this article please enlighten us.... here is what I found on another forum...My Charlton ,abiet old, has this variety mentioned.
The two varieties already in Charlton are:
'Double-punched Narrow 9 #1' (resembles narrow 9 over 8)
and
'Double-punched Narrow 9 #2' (traces of original 9 at left)

The new one was described as this:
distinct doubling on the east outside of the 9 carrying through to the left side.

Here is a picture of the current issue:

Todd-I have the n-9 #2. You can see the extra nine very clearly on the left side but nothing on the right side. This new version is seen very clearly on both sides. I wonder how much this new one will fetch on the market place. How many varieties are actually collected to call your set a complete set of Canadian Large cents? I have 51 different large cents so far.

There are so many different 1859's out there that sometimes I get overwhelmed when looking at them... My eyes get tired and my back starts to ache.

This variety is not new. It was discussed at length on the CCRS website. This particular variety has the largest known spread in the repunching of the last 9. Variety #11 high 9 over low 9 in the reference section.

Rob (Bosox) has a ton more knowledge regarding these.
