What is the giveaway this time:
I've given away Adobe software before. But so far, it's all been Windows versions and some folks have been snippy about that. We don't want to neglect Macintoshes.
Well, this time I'm giving away a Macintosh version. A Full (non-Update) version of Adobe Photoshop CS4 for Macintosh.
(That will give all of the Windows folks a chance to get snippy with me)
And yes, it's legal. I work there and can buy it at cost. As long as I make no profit, it's all good and on the level. So I give it away.
In the box it was shipped to me. Unopened. If there was first strike eligibility for software, this would be eligible. I can't say that this fact makes it run any better.
The question:
Back in October, I did a giveaway where I asked you to guess how many golden dollars I had.
The answer to that contest was 1,265.
I have not purchased any more direct ship dollars, and I have been spending them since the last contest.
How many golden dollars will I have left on April 1st?
It will be a number between 0 and 1,265.
Closest guess wins. Ties will be resolved by flipping a coin.
Contest ends at 7pm, April 1st.
The prize:

I will give my 14 year old daughter the chance to answer your contest. Nikki just recieved a Mac Note Book for Xmass and is begging me to guess. Nikki's guess is 550 left.

Most places i've spent these seem to be fairly positive about getting them. Some places are downright happy to get them.
And, one place...the cafeteria where I work...is pretty tired of getting them. Even then, some of the cashiers will still seek them out.
Apparently, the banks create rules about depositing these which are not favorable to businesses.

Just because you haven't bought any more doesn't mean you haven't gotten some back like from post office vending machines or such....or in change....and just because you spend some doesn't mean you spend alot of them at one time...
