Newbie seeking for answers

hello everyone,
as a new guy in coin collecting, i have some questions on coin storage.
what is a good way to store coins?
I have heard that Intercept Shield holders are one of the best in the market, is it true?
Because I am mainly collecting Canadian coins, and does not offer holders for Canadian coins, will those holder still good for Canadian coins? for example, Intercept Shield has 18mm and 19mm holders, and Canadian dime is 18.03mm. so which size should i choose?
your comments will be greatly appreciated.

The coins not in my registry sets are in mylar flips or bulk packed in tubes. For presentation purposes the Eagle brand of plastic 2x2's work well.

Welcome to the forums!
The only important thing is to avoid any storage device that contains PVC as it will eventually damage your coins. Also, whatever holder you decide upon, keep them away from environmental hazards - moisture/humidity, sulfurous things, tape, most woods, etc.
I personally use Airtites for my nicer stuff and Saflips or simple cardboard 2x2s for everything else.
edit - JPs Corner is a good source for much of this stuff, and often is the cheapest!
