What is the deal with the sequencing of 1991 Wildcard Football?

I just opened a box of 91 Wildcard Football. There are about 200 cards to that set and I only pulled about 30 of those cards from 1 box. Each one of those cards had about 14 duplicates of each card in the box. I pulled 13 Barry Sanders and no Brett Favre’s. Is this pretty common for that year? Some packs had triplets of the same card. It became kind of annoying after about half the box was ripped.

If I remember, the answer is yes. I havent opened any in a while, but I can remember in both the College and Pro Wildcards from 1991 that I would get a lot of a few cards and none of some of the others

I guess I wouldn't be complaining if I pulled 13 Favre's.

Yeah that's normal. Just be happy the cards weren't completely fused together.

I had to peal them a part 1 by 1.

I have a bunch of uncut sheets of those cards. I remember buying them for pennies in the early 90's from some toy store.
