2005 topps all american autographed set

Hi guys
I have been working on this set for a couple years. they are really good looking cards... Some of the cards are real tough, like Craig Heyward who passed away in 2006 but I didn't get into this to complete all 90 cards, just what I can. Seems like someone else was working on this set a couple years ago, I can't remember if it was here or on another message board. I'd be open to buying or trading for ones I don't have.

Here is what I've accumulated so far:

Man I bought a lot of that stuff back in the day, the on card sigs look much better than the sticker autographs that were inserted into boxes. You actually
might have a chance to pick up the Barry Sanders! LOL

Good Luck, can't wait to see more!

I really like the Heisman signed cards. I prefer their signed cards showing their college uniforms.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

I have been working on this set a while myself. Not much effort into it lately though. I have 63 of the 90 I believe. Have dealt away most of my extras, but have Ted Hendricks and Archie Griffin still to deal.

    Hello,

I've been keeping a low profile since I liquidated all my PSA sets.
I still wanted to collect, but I wanted to put a limit on my budget.
I have been collecting this set for the past year, these are my first seven cards:

Nice cards. I sent a bunch of these TTM and I bought a couple that had been signed from another collector. I am not sure how many I still need for the set myself. I have not worked on it in quite a while. Good luck with your set.

I'm 2 away from the set. Ed Marinaro won't sign that card for some reason. Ironhead Hayward is the other I'm missing (it's unclear if he would have everyone able to physically sign one before he passed). Tony Franklin is doing a signing in November and he's one of the tougher ones.

You TTM and auto guys in general are some patient MoFos. I personally do not possess that kind of patiences. Very cool cards that really pop with an auto. Sometimes autos on cards seem forced or cramped. This set with a horizontal layout really set up well for an auto. Good luck with the sets.

I love the All American set. I have a full 1955 set with the stars graded PSA 7/8 and the rest in raw. It is the first vintage football set I completed. It started with a 5 card purchase at a show near Chicago Midway airport

I decided to do the entire set in PSA 7. I got all of the high dollars stars already and started to pick up the rest as nice centered 7's come up. If anyone has any for sale, PM me.

Besides the 1955 and 2005, I believe there is a 2003 set with NFL logos.

That's one hell of a buy. I'm glad you got PSA to authenticate. I wonder how in heck he got him to sign it. Must have broken him down in person. I wrote him a letter a couple years ago offering $200 to his favorite charity to sign it...no reply.

Got this one back from PSA last week.

Love Joe's auto. Nice add. Clue me in god forbid you ever see another Marinaro. I'm only missing Marinaro and the Heyward - and I don't actually think Ironhead exists.

Really enjoyed looking at these. I think the horizontal cards are better for autos. Continued luck in completing the sets.

Why did Montler sign on the back? Kind of fouls up for display purposes as all the others are on the front.

Montler signed on the back because the picture on the front is not of him.

The picture on the front is of Kanavis McGhee.

70 Craig Heyward (might not exist, except factory auto)

    75 Barry Sanders
