1964 Lancaster, NH bicentennial medal

Here's a different look that I'd like to share...this 1964 medal from the Lancaster, New Hampshire bicentennial is uniface. I haven't been able to find out anything about this medal, and don't know if this was a trial piece or if there was actually a medal issued for the celebration - unifaced or not. The medal is 38mm in diameter and appears to be bronze. I like the design, with the ends of the pine branches coming into the center part of the design and surrounding the wolf.

    That is a cool looking medal. It looks like someone took the reverse? And ran it across a belt sander with 120 grit sandpaper.
