How is everyone doing with their Brackets?

Just curious to see how some of you guys are doing with your March Madness predictions.

I'm doing alright.... The games that I missed were: Arizona over Utah, AZ St. over Temple, Dayton over West Virginia, USC over BC, OK St. over TN, WKU over ILL and Siena over OH St.


I've accurately predicted 2 upsets so far..... Cleveland St over Wake and Wisconsin over FSU. Pretty solid so far. (I thought I had predicted the WKU over ILL game, but I checked my bracket and I was living in fantasy haha)


BTW, my final four is Louisville, Memphis, Pitt, and UNC.

Louisville over UNC in the final... 76-68.

    Very good call on Cleveland State over Wake, Goot. Sports Illustrated had Wake going to the final four. image

    I don't fill out a bracket, but nice to see the Big Twelve sitting at 6-0 after two days.

    I lost 7 in the first, but took none of the losers more than the first round so that's a slight benefit. Only decent upset I got right was Wisconsin. Have them going 2 rounds.

    image Well said and an accurate description of my bracket as well.

    I took too many chances that didn't pay off.

    I picked Maryland over Cal, Western Kentucky over Illinois, and Michigan over Clemson. So far so good.

    But I also blew the OSU/Sienna, Dayton/W. Virginia, BC/USC, Butler/LSU, Tenn/OKlahoma St., and VCU/UCLA games. And most of those games were the close ones.

    And I had Wake Forest and Florida State both in the sweet 16. Missed 10 in the first round. Ugh!

    I didn't do a bracket this year. I'm typically pretty conservative on my bracket (no upsets except those with local interest; so my WKU upset would've been right, and 8s vs. 9s I pick the one with the better record, I think I would've picked AZ to win as well because I would've figured they wanted it more) and that would've been okay last year and until the last half of yesterday, it looked like that strategery would've worked okay this year. Apparnetly not so.

    How about Pitt having to practically go the distance against ETSU?

    I'm tied for 3rd overall and in good shape, hopefully. Usually I never do to well, but we'll see.

    I'm 7 of 8 so far for the sweet 16, missing only on the Zags..


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    So far for me it's been up and down...

    Only got three picks wrong for the Thursday games (and 2 of those were 8/9 matchups).

    Friday was a different story. 8 wrong picks out of the 16 games played (and 2 of those were teams that I had advancing to the Sweet 16 - Wake Forest, West Virginia). image

    Saturday was a real good day for my bracket. All of my Sweet 16 picks made it...including Purdue. image

    26-6 in round 1
    15-1 in round 2

    I assume many are doing well as there have not been many upsets.

    In round 1, my misses were

    TN over Ok. State
    MN over Texas
    Butler over LSU
    Temple over AZ State
    West Virginia over Dayton
    Wake over Cle. State

    I also had Wake going to Sweet 16, so that was my only miss for round 2.

    Keeping my fingers crossed

    My final four:

    LOU, MEM, PITT, NC

    So far, perfect. I do not have any losses as of yet through two rounds.

    I am tied for 4th out of 65 with 14 still alive. However, I will probably end up near last place by the end of it.

    I was at the Gonzaga v. WKU game on Saturday. GREAT game!

    To update after the games on Sunday...14 of my Sweet 16 picks made it. All of my Elite 8 picks are still alive too.

    My Final Four: Louisville, Memphis, Duke, Oklahoma.

    Championship game: Memphis over Oklahoma.
