Overall I'm pretty happy with the results was hoping for all 8's or better. I might just have to crack out the 7's since they are kind of worthless!

The 1972 OPC pack was from our group rip so it was nice to see that pull a 9.

I really have no clue how they grade packs they all looked just about the same.

What ever it ends up being.. would it be something that was determined by Psa, or would it be something that was determined by Steve?

I think Steve addressed the altered stock code on a thread awhile back.

Is it a conflict of interest that Steve sells graded packs that he grades?

Sometimes, in some fields, honest folks have to wear two hats.

Also, I could be mistaken, but it was my understanding that his
primary role was to help decide if the packs had been "resealed,"
and that he was not super-involved in the "grading."

Steve does not grade the packs only says if they are authentic or not.

If it helps you in any way, I had some packs scanned in on 02/04/09 and they were shipped on 03/18/09.

Steve e-mailed me and said it was extra wax build up on the bottom of the pack probably from being on the bottom of the box... Funny thing is Steve sold me the pack that he rejected for PSA grading...

He did make it up to me and offered to trade me the pack that would not grade for an already graded PSA 9 pack (another reason I only buy from Steve and the BBCE!)

I'll need to remember that if any of my packs from BBCE get rejected this time around, LOL!

Steve was very cool about it... packs were sent in the same box and bubble rap that they came to me in from the BBCE.

thanks! I have a 75 mini pack with Brett showing on back at PSA. Was worried that they would return it unslabbed with a no holder available note. Got it from the group rip a couple of years ago.

I pulled a pack with Brett Rc on back from a box and got it holdered at PSA about a year ago...on the other hand, they sent back my 75 mini cello pack because there was no holder available..
