1966 Scottish Shilling Hoard . . .

here's a bunch of clad in old paper bank bags which once held "silver".

For you UK lads anyway, or maybe cladking. image

Oh yeah, all that time in a paper (sulfur) bag, and not a single one looks toned. imageimage

If they were '59s or even '61s, I would be tempted....

How can he get away with 'No PayPal'? I tried to list something on eBay that had the words 'money order' in the description and eBay wouldn't allow me to list.

'Cause he is in the UK, different country. The Paypoo rule can only be made to apply in the USA by the USA fleaBay.

So what is a 1966 one of those worth in "BU?" I haven't a clue and my Krause book is at home.

2007 Krause puts them at $1.25 in unc.

Spink has them at one quid apiece, but they're worth a whole lot less than that in bulk - probably about $0.25-$0.35 each.

Very cool little hoard. And the seller sounds like a nice guy from his write-up.
