The Chicago Cubs set to retire the number 31 in honor of the two great moundmen. In honor of Maddux, I'm starting up his basic Topps set. I've hit Ebay pretty hard (Thanks 4SC and PSA Set Guy). If you have any PSA 10's for sale that fit the set, let me know. I'm looking to pick them up! Now if only I can get my Braves to retire his number we'll be alright! Only need a little more time for that one.

Good luck with the set. I started the Maddux master set with a projected finish date of some time right before I file for social security benefits. The fun part is that I subbed all the cards in my set accept one that was a gift from a forum user.

Yeah, it looks like I'm going to have to dive into some boxes of the years I need to sub my own 10's. I've got a great jumping off point, so that helps. Still, its going to be great breaking open some of the stuff from when I was a kid. I think the search is going to be half the fun with my basic Topps sets.
