What mint - 1785 Guinea ??

Can any of you Great Britian experts help me .... What mint in England would a 1785 gold guinea have been milled??
Also is there any mintage figures out there ??

    Those should have been minted in the Tower of London. Mintage? image ....back later if someone hasn't found it. I have the 18th c. Krause somewhere around here. image

    Spink's doesn't list mintage figures either for coins prior to 1838.

    I guess there are no mintage figures available.
    I assume King George III was minting so many guineas at that time to fund his post war bills that they didn't keep proper figures .... u'mm kinda reminds me of what we're doing over here in the USA now, except we call them $dollars$ image

    A pic of my newly acquired, received in yesterday's mail, 1785 Guinea (NGC MS62)is posted here British Coin Friday. I got it from a from David Lawrence auction last Monday and I found its recent provenace going back to an Ira and Larry Goldberg auction in May of 2007.
