eBay transaction--finally worked out

I was ecstatic when I first won this coin. Finding a choice AU Revolution-Era 2 Sols (better yet, at a reasonable price) is damn near impossible.
I had been in communication with the seller, and he had agreed to accept paypal and to ship to the US. But shortly after the auction ended, I got an email saying the coin had been stolen. He attempted to give an explanation of how, but he clearly did not know english and had just used an online translator, because I could hardly make any sense out of what he was saying.
I was skeptical at first, thinking maybe he was trying to weasel out of the transaction for some reason. He responded that the coin had been stolen "during a numismatic forum" where he had brought the piece to show. He sent an auction cancellation request through eBay. I reluctantly accepted.
Today I got an email saying he and his friends were able to locate the thief and recover the coin. He asked me if I wanted to complete the transaction. Yes!
Looking forward to getting it in hand.
