Hi,

which would be the better version of a card to list in the registry in terms of rating, a PSA 7 or a PSA 8(oc)?

Add the PSA 7!!! Cards with qualifiers are dropped 2 grades therefore your PSA 8OC will give you a GPA of 6.00 instead of 8.00.
