SSP - Tone Silver Ship (well, sort of a ship)
Just when I thought I'd found all the coins... This turns up in a box of mom's old cloths (was washing them before donating them).
My wife and I bought this in 1988 on our honeymoon (we drove down the west coast). Brought the thing back and gave it to mom. Mom apparently tossed it in a drawer with her clothes.
I think my wife and I kept a brass or bronze version for ourselves... come to think about it now, I haven't seen that in 20 years either. I wonder if it's in the box with our wedding photos. I'll have a look tonight. I'd be fun to photo the two medals together again.
I'm guessing the finger prints must be either mom's, mine or my wife's. Bummer. I expect this will make an appearance on the BST in the next 30-days. Until then, it's just a cool toned silver ship photo to enjoy.
