What's going on with Victoria's eye on this 1887 Victoria Crown?

Aside from the slightly ragged rims and small spot on her cheek, is that triangular bulge behind her eye post-mint damage, or just my weak eyes playing tricks on me, or...? Whaddaya think? image

Almost looks like the Jefferson double eye error, can you get a close up?
Even a scan would work for this type of imaging.

The eyelid/brow area is rather high in relief and see many old head silvers with a bit of wear showing similar findings (although I can not show any at the moment)...
    Love that Milled British (1830-1960)
    Well, just Love coins, period.

Think maybe she needs an Order for Protection against Albert? image

No, it's not my coin and the photo is only 400X396 so when I tried to crop it down in PS to just the eye area it won't enlarge without becoming blurry. Of course I'm somewhat computer and Photo Shop challenged, so maybe someone more techie here can try doing something with that pic.?
