Check this out -- I think it's pretty funny. Lincecum (and Randy Johnson) obviously have a good sense of humor.

<< <i>too bad he plays for the Giants... >>
exactly.. and it will prolly be the difference between him winning 18 games as opposed to only about 12 because of the lack of run support

Timmy still managed 18 wins last year... and the Cy Young Award.
Looking at what they're fielding, while they haven't made major improvements, I think the 2009 Giants are BETTER than the 2008 Giants, mainly because of prospects like Pablo Sandoval and Travis Ishikawa, who will be probably be every day players at the corners this year. Sandoval batted .345 in 41 games last year, and Ishikawa's been a power hitting lefty in the minors for a few years. Sandoval tore up the Winter League this year, and both have been doing very well during spring training.

Hmmm, hadn't thought about that -- that would be pretty sh*tty. I decided to look up the answer and here's what I found: Lincecum has a one-year, $650,000 contract with the Giants for this year. He will likely be eligible for salary arbitration after the 2009 season.
Wow, only $650K. Now how's a guy supposed to put food on the table when he's making that kinda chump change?!
I guess the Giants wanted to keep Timmy motovated for the big payday that he's got coming if he pitches well this season.
