How Fast is Your Registered Mail Lately?

My last order from PSA was shipped on February 18th and still hasn't arrived. Usually it takes about 5-6 business days to get from California to Michigan. In contacting PSA, Kristie told me the norm is 5-10 business days but USPS has been slower lately. How has it been for the rest of you. Fast, normal or slow?

Mine have been arriving in 3-7 days. The ones I want most are the ones that take longer.

Today I received the last of my PSA January Submissions via Registered Mail. They were mailed from PSA on February 19. I live on Long Island.

the mail is faster than psa is with my subs. by probably 10-100 fold.

A couple of months ago I sent some T9's via registered mail to Illinois, I'm in PA
It took over 3 weeks. I was just glad it finally arrived since its such a hassle to
do the insurance claim.

Really slow lately......on average nearly 3 weeks from CA to Ohio. The weird thing is I had 4 submissions graded and each one shipped on a different day in a 5 day span and they all arrived at my house 6 days later on the same day!! That happened last month. I'm giving up on the USPS I opened a Fed ex account and I'm using that for the return shipping, it's cheaper and it will only take 4 business days to arrive.

Well, my February 18th PSA shipment arrived today. 10 business days. Probably on the longer end of delivery time from what I'm reading in this thread but I'm glad they got here. Unfortunately the grades didn't miraculously change during this lengthy shipment time by USPS.

My 18 Feb Order was just about the same as yours, I was getting worried as well. I have only had three other submissions but this one was longer than the others. It didn't help that the USPS online tracker never updated during the whole time either.

You are right. The USPS tracker never posts any information until the time it is delivered to you. Therefore, you never can really track its progress at all. Kristie from PSA told me that the USPS will not put a tracer on the registered mail package until 15 business days have elapsed without delivery. I understand the security measures that are taken with registered mail in order to have tight accountability during its handling, but 2-3 weeks to deliver a secure package at a cost of over $20 just doesn't seem like very good customer service. I will say that I have never had a registered mail package not delivered to its destination.

I send my stuff to PSA PRIORITY MAIL INSURED,
on a monday or tuesday it gets from
minnesota to newport beach in less then 46 hours
I wish it could ship back as fast.

PSA sent me a sub on the 23rd of February and I am still waiting on the 3rd of March and I am in California. It did not arrive today.

FYI, I also had an order ship on February 18th and I received it on March 3rd (Tuesday). Normally it is a week or less to get to Tennessee. That was the longest time the USPS has ever taken to get an order to me, not to mention that the tracking on their website stinks.

I've also tried to track packages from PSA. I asked the PO and they said that registered mail is actually NOT trackable, and that is why there is not info available en route. The lack of tracking is for security reasons that come with registered.
