Uploading photos

Help please,
I've been experimenting with photographing coins, using some of the excellent tips in this forum. Quite proud of some of my early results.
Question, how do I upload them here? What is best filetype, dimensions & resolution.
I seem to be restricted to 50k, but many photos here seem much higher quality - where am I going wrong?

You can then link them with the little 'picture' icon (when posting a thread).
For Example, comcast allows me to have 'Personal Web Pages' PWP
where I use the built in filemanager to upload. And then use the following link:
http://home.comcast.net/~jzrarities/JZrarities.jpg <----paste this into the picture icon
Notice they go into the jzrarities directory on comcast. (from my PWP login)
Photobucket is a free version of the personal webpages just for photos.
Telling us who your internet provider is might help...or register with Photobucket.
Thanks guys!

Again, I've been with them for about 6 years and never had a problem. It's great if you know a bit about web design as they have a solid LAMP setup, but coding knowledge isn't necessary. They have one-click installs of most major web platforms: WordPress & Drupal for blogs, Gallery and Zenphoto for picture galleries, phpBB for forums, ZenCart for sales, PhpGedView for family trees, etc, etc. All super easy to set up and maintain. And they are one of the cheapest and longest lasting, most reliable hosts out there. So, highly recommended!

BTW, David, I like your icon - here's the rest of the coin
