Reds rotation & Dusty Baker - 2003 Cubs?

Does this years Reds rotation look like the beginning of the same nightmare scenario the Cubs went through starting in 2003? Instead of Prior, Wood and Clement he has Volquez, Johnny Cueto and Homer Bailey. Three outstanding young arms that will probably be overworked by Dusty. Let's just hope he doesn't make the same mistakes he made 6 years ago.

I'm not a Reds fan but just thought it was interesting that he has 3 young pitchers similar to what he had in 2003.

  • Hopefully our young guys can come out a pitch well and win us some games! I can speak for all of Cincinnati when I say we need a winning team again!

    I can agree with that.

He will throw them until their arms fall off. He has no clue how to handle young arms.
  • I just went to a cyclones game Friday! You can't beat them for the price! Dollar beers!

I was going to go Saturday, but we decided to go to Argosy...then Grand Victoria. I missed out on the $1 pulled pork though.
  • I love going to argosy but don't typically drop a lot! You ever go watch the Florence feedom ball games? Those are a good time too!

Negative, I don't even get to as many Reds games as I would like to.
