Manny is holding out on the Dodgers because he hates spring training

One theory I heard, he would rather just sit out for as long as possible so he doesn't have to go through as much of the spring
training ritual.

Yea those baseball training camps are rough...15 minutes of stretching each day, a few trot laps around the field and some batting and fielding practice and games...tough, tough, tough.

I do think Spring Training way too long. If it takes a coach three months to decide on his starters....perhaps the MLB is not the place for him.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

For some strange reason, I think that makes too much sense.

Spring Training is long so pitchers can stretch out their arms. Hitters wouldn't need more than 2-3 weeks of Spring Training at most.

I doubt that Manny finds spring training too hard, it is probably that he feels it is a waste of time for him.
