Need Info on 2009 Cents...

Can anyone give a newbie a heads up as to when they will be released?
What (if anything) will be the difference between what the banks get versus what I can buy on the US Mint's website?

Thanks...CV

  • No one knows when the banks may get them. They have officially been released. It has been reported that the mint may sell uncirc rolls starting in the next couple weeks. The mint sets and the proof sets will be 95% copper coins, versus the zink cents for circulation. If you do a search you will find a link to the articles about them.

Buy them on ebay now and spend a fortune on a common coin or wait a few weeks and get them at the bank for face value!
  • As far as a schedule, the mint has released its brochure, similiar to the state quarters.

There is not a single release date on it.

    Oh well.
