chart differences

ok, you old hands.

The NYMEX chart and KITCO gold price charts have some differences, of course.

Why is it, though their "Last" quote may be almost identical, their "Change" amount may be many dollars different?

    Depends on where/when you measure the change from.

    I read sometime a while back that Kit co was going to show settle price at 5:00pm eastern and then measure change from that number. They used to use 2imageo I beleive. This may be where the is a different between sites and what time they use as a settle.
