Morgan Dollar Grade.

I am studying Morgan Dollars trying to learn about grading them and how to spot cleaned coins.

Is the coin below MS or AU? And whats going on with its surface?

From your pics, it looks like a typical AU 21 morgan. What do you mean exactly by what is going on with the surface? Are there hairlines? If so I can't tell.
MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Pocket carried AU. Dirt and stuff in the recesses and "clean" in the fields.

    Good pic,

It has definitely been circulated, obverse looks around a 53 to me.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
