How long does it take to get my submission back?

I sent in my eight free submissions (my first ever) and received the grades via email. The PCGS site says they shipped back to me on 2/9/09 but I haven't received anything yet. Should I be worried or is this length of time normal? Also can I track the shipment via the website?

They are sent registered. Given the weekends and the holiday and how registered works, particularly if yours is a small/rural PO, it can take up to a couple of weeks. You are likely to get them early next week.

I wouldn't be too uptight over it since they are registered.

When did you submit your coins?
I sent in a couple of batches Thursday at the Long Beach coin show- one of them was also a grouping of eight for re-upping my membership. I suppose I'd receive something next week or so.

Your notification was sent on the ninth. Give them a few days to actually ship your package and being aware REGISTERED mail takes up to 10 days (sometimes a bit more) and you're still within the comfort zone as of today.

Just curious-How long after they receive your coins on the eight freebies before you know your grades?

expect two weeks, PO won't even look up records 'til after at least that amount of time;

of my two latest registered returns, the first I finally went to check on and found out that a first notice of delivery had been left a week earlier,... no it had not or at least I hadn't found it.

the second I finally got a supposed second notice on after a week of the package sitting in the PO, no, there wasn't a first notice, or not one I had found anyway.


actually, in both instances the packages made it in about a week, it just seems my carrier is lazy or something and it was days later I finally caught up with my packages.

I sent them on 1/17/09. Grades posted on 2/5/09. States they shipped 2/9/09. Pretty fast I'd say except for the return time. I'll post pics if I get them soon.

I know they are all widgets but I was happy that my grading skills are getting better, I figured they were all 64's. I'm anxious to take another look at the 78-s to see the evidence of cleaning.
