Caledonian Games medal - who has seen these before?

In my quest for Connecticut-themed medals, I picked this up. Really attractive Caledonian Games medal, made by Dieges & Clust, 20 John St, New York. 38+mm across, pretty high relief, "gold filled". This particular one was apparently awarded to the 440 yd dash winner in 1911. Have any of you seen similar medals for these games? I cannot find much info on the history of the games online, I think I'll have to go to the library...
