  • As a huge Giants fan I'm saddened. The lingacking core of Taylor, Carson, Kelley and Van Pelt in my opinion was the best of all time. Those years in the mid 70's to early 80's the LB's and Dave Jennings the punter was the best we had. R.I.P Brad.
  • that's interesting - I was just watching the movie - INVINCABLE - Vince Papale story

    there were high lights of playing the Giants and Van Pelts name was seen in several shots against the EAGLES.

    I read elsewhere that he was able to keep the #10 as a linebacker because when he was drafted he came out of college as kicker/linebacker

    Only 57!! Wish I would have had to chance to see him play at MSU!! A three letter sportsman!!
