Email it to David Harper at Numismatic News and maybe you'll make the front page like I did last year reporting the first Lincoln of the year to readers.

<< <i>not yet ! , but today i got a DC quarter, dang its ugly....what a waste............... dont mean to hijack ur thread..... >>
I was at food dog the other day got 3 dc quarters in change looked like they just opened a roll i was gonna ask to buy them from the cashier but after taking a look at it i decided i didn't want them anyway they are currently residing in my change bucket.
Man, thank you very very much! I'm excited... Very excited. It's been a long couple of weeks here at work, and today has been particularly annoying, this is definitely an unexpected bright spot in my week.
No worries. Billions will be minted and we will all have more than we want soon. >>
Yeah, but like my momma always said, don't pay for something you can get for free!
You know, for some reason when you win something, you're always more excited and the item always seem more valuable than it actually is...even if it is a piece of crap...pardon my language.
.............no, MY BROTHER DID!! he called me when he noticed it in his change!! he knew i am a collector. and thought it looked 'different'

So we've now got an outhouse and big honking ONE CENT block letters on the back of the cent. The real question is how more cartoonish did they make Abe with the latest rendition? His portrait has been becoming increasingly ugly with each basturdization... err, "improvement".

Has anyone noted the edges of these new cents? They seem to be a bit "chewed" because of the reverse design. Anyone?
