Here is what I just posted in wondercoin's signature confirmation NOT thread:

Looks like the problems are the result of a poorly planned transition to a new vendor. I've seen such things happen. The manager responsible for the transition is now the head of the team fixing the problems. They're working 7 days a week and holding high profile meetings with a daily report to the director. When everything is fixed they will get bonuses and promotions for their hard work to resolve the problem--it will be forgotten that they should have never let it happen in the first place.

The other managers in the organization who do a good job and keep their responsibilities on track such that they never have to participate in a fire drill like this never get recognized or rewarded. This is how the less competent get promoted over the competent.

Nope. Just entered the Mint web site URL. Maybe they are having the same kind of DNS problems that NGC has had?

Yep. The note at the bottom of the page says that one of the customers got sick and they had to close to clean up the on-line store.

    From the link:

One report I heard was of a $357,000 bullion coin order in 8 boxes that was dumped on a doorstep at 10:30 am, where it sat unprotected until the recipient got home at 6:00 pm.

That is seriously messed up! You could not run a business that way ...

They have to make it look like things are falling apart so they can get a bail out (executive bonuses)
