How many boxes in a case of 1994 Finest Baseball?

Does anyone know how many boxes were in a case of 1994 Finest Baseball?

Looking through the 2009 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards it mentions that "Baseball's Finest was limited to 4000 cases and available to dealers through an allocation process..."

There were 7 cards in a pack and 24 packs a box and 2 refractors per box. So with a the # of boxes per case you can get a very strong estimate as to the number of 1994 Refractors. (440 cards in the set)

1993 - 241~

1994 - ?

I'm dying to do the math here.

The math... drum roll please... based on the best info available. And assuming equal distribution of cards...

    At 6 boxes per case:

    24,000 Boxes
    576,000 Packs
    4,032,000 cards
~9163 examples of any given card

~110 examples of any given refractor

    At 8 boxes per case:

    32,000 Boxes
    768,000 Packs
    5,376,000 cards
~12,218 examples of any given card

~145 examples of any given refractor

The Standard Catalog also mentions that refractor insertion rate is approx. 1 per 10 packs, though I think most would agree that 2 per box was standard. Assuming 1 per 10 distribution:

w/ 6 box case = ~131 examples of any given refractor
w/ 8 box case = ~175 examples of any given refractor

Are we sure we are talking 4000 cases for the 1994. The 1993 were 4000 - 12 Box cases.

The Standard catalog for 93 it mentions that there approx. 250 of each refractor but that has been questioned since a large number of refractors began appearing in the mid-2000's.

For 94 Finest it specifically states the 4000 case production run.
