There is a show in Santa Rosa (Ca)this weekend (Friday and Saturday) that was fun last year. I am hoping to be there Friday, is anyone else planning on going.
Naw, I'm not planning on going. I'm saving my money for the month of April... no not taxes, well that too, but rather there are 3 space memorabilia auctions; held by Heritage, Goldberg's and Regency-Superior, in a 5 week span in that time frame. Given this economy it will be interesting to see how the items do.
Vis-a-vis coins I've ordered an UHR and have an "iron in the fire".
IMO, the show on Saturday was very busy with lots and lots of activity. I did not see any empty tables and there were lots of different items for sale.
Myself, I picked up:
A 1971-S RPM Eisenhower (which totally made my day!)
A 1972-S Proof IKE which has an absolute great chance at FS-101 Attribution
..
A couple of nice CAMEO 1968 and 1969 Proof Sets, a smattering of Kenndy's Halves of which one is a 1965 SMS DDO and the other is a 1967 SMS QDO (hopefully).
The drive was 2 1/2 hours one way but the weather was perfect!
Unfortunately, that long of a drive kept me from attending the Cupertino Coin club show in South San Jose today!
Perhaps next time, a group of the Sacramento Area guys shopuld get together and commute as a team?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I was on call at work all weekend. I'm going to be a full-on basket case by next Friday.
