If you were going to pick one show for darkside material...

...which would it be?

I've been collecting for about 2 years now and I've never yet made it to one of the bigger shows. My criteria is fairly simple:

Something in North America that has a good spectrum of darkside material. My collecting focus is German 1 Marks (1873-1997 date set), but I don't want that to limit my choice.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I would love to see a World Coin show here in the South, other than the FUN show. One centralized either in the NC mountains or TN right across the line. That would be a mid point for the east coast and could also draw some Midwesterners. There just aren't many world coin dealers around here... I can't wait until I get the knowledge and stock/resources to open my own!

Agreed and you can add in the ANA Summer show. These are the 3 best shows for world coins IMHO. 3Mark

New York is clearly the best of the big three.

New York for sure! NYINC 2009 show details

Some day I hope to attend the Chicago show.

I hear Baltimore is starting to get some nice darkside material.

And there is some at FUN and Long Beach.
