2 1 14837254 NEAR MINT-MINT 8 1967 TOPPS 569 A.L. ROOKIES R.CAREW/H.ALLEN Card US - Very pleased. Thought it was 7.5ish.
3 1 14837255 NEAR MINT 7 1967 TOPPS 150 MICKEY MANTLE Card US - Meh. Probably right, but thought it was 7.5ish too.
4 1 14837256 NEAR MINT-MINT 8 1965 TOPPS 160 BOB CLEMENTE Card US - BVG 8 crackout (very old flip).
5 1 14837257 NEAR MINT-MINT 8 1952 TOPPS 64 ROY SIEVERS BLACK BACK Card US - Stoked. Just a beautiful card.
6 1 14837258 NEAR MINT-MINT 8 1956 TOPPS 101 ROY CAMPANELLA GRAY BACK Card US - GAI 8 crackout. (very old flip). I looked this one over for 20 minutes to convince myself it was ok (because it was in a Global holder). It's an awesome card. I almost sold this card last summer and am now happy I kept it.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
  • I would crack them all and resub.

Thanks guys. Will post scans when they return. On the Rose, I probably just missed something. I don't look for edges that bow out or other signs of being miscut as much as I should.

Ron, I need to know how you find all of these cards in such great condition raw. A 1967 Topps raw Mantle into a PSA 7. WOW you are lucky! Congrats on the great grades, I can not wait to see a scan of the Mantle.

I bought the Mantle and Carew at the Houston show. A dealer had just broken a 67 set there and I took advantage of that.

The Mantle will be for sale at $225 firm. I'll post a scan, you will not find a nicer 7 out there.

    Thanks,

    Ron

Hows was the centering on the Mantle?
  • RonBurgundyRonBurgundy Posts: 5,491 ✭✭✭
Centering is great on it! I don't want to say it's exactly 50-50 all the way around without having it in front of me, but it's in the ballpark.

The PSA 6 Mantle I have is Off Centered a little top to bottum. Most are... I will definitly be watching for it. I hope you get your cards faster than I do. It usually takes 2 weeks before I get my cards back from PSA

    Ron,
I'm going to trust your judgment on the 67 Mantle. I'll take it for $225. Send me your PAYPAL address and I'll send the money in the next few days.
    Thanks,
