  • nice sig's I hope for you they are real... but it kind of looks like they were all signed by the same person - all the auto's appear to have the same flow and shape - but maybe that's just because they are all scanned together.

Good Luck - If the Pat Riley is real I would be very interested image

I certainly could be wrong, but most of the baseball autographs look bad (especially the Yaz).

Dom DiMaggio is good. Not sure about some of the others though... a couple look questionable.

Several look questionable to me as well, Guidry,Yaz,Winfield and even Feller look off a little.

I agree about the Feller. Not sure why someone would fake a Feller sig but it looks off.

The first "B" and "F" in the Feller do not match any of the over one dozen examples that I have personally gotten from Mr. Feller himself. As was noted before, why would anyone fake a Feller?

I also agree that the Winfield looks "off", especially the "Dave".

The "Smith" on the Ozzie Smith seems a little "off" to me as well.

Aparicio also seems a little "off".

The Doby compares well with an example I have though.

I'm by no means an "expert" though, just my offering my thoughts.

Pete Rozelle was well known for ghost signing. If the card was a TTM.
  • I think that just about all of them are bad. As someone else said most of the have the same flow. In addition the same amount of ink seems to be present. Just about all of them look kinda uniform. Uniqueness is lacking here.
  • looks like same ink same day on a lot of them too....get your money back fast...several i know are fake.

Believe it or not, Chipper was signing like that for awhile in 1994/5ish...but that's not authentic...just made to look like a style he once used.

Thanks for all of the opinions.

The few that I was a little familiar with (already had)....
    Lopez looked good
    Aparicio, Yaz and Feller didn't

Glad to here the Dom D. looks good (didn't have one and I am a Red Sox fan)

Any others look good? (Randy - you mentioned a "John"?)

the fact that you don't have a lot into the lot leads me to believe alot of them are not good. there are some pretty nice autos if they were real that would cost a few scheckles.

Hell just froze over. I agree with Kevin. These are the two main ones I am familiar with and they both look bad.
  • I agree with alot of the auto's mentioned above. The Chipper and Soriano aren't good at all. That Cal Ripken card looks good though.

My first impression was that the same person signed them too.

With that said I really have no idea as to authenticity.

    I'd be wary though.

Also want to add that the Ripken looks off without the dots he usually puts above the i and after the j and if you look closely at the d in dave winfield there's an odd stop point in the curved part of the D.

If you got them free/almost free you're not really losing out, UNLESS the Orioles autos are also bogus.

Both the Ozzie and Feller sigs look bad to me, and I have decent knowledge on both of their signatures. Those are the only ones where I have enough knowledge to give a quick opinion.
How *&^%$ cheap do you have to be to fake Bob Feller's signature?

The majority are bad although I can tell you that the Ripken is indeed genuine

  • Hey,

John Madden spelled with an "o" in the last name instead of an "e". That would be the clincher for me:}.
