Will you let me know how you got the scan up? I am new also and it appears you can only load a file 50kb or less and it's difficult to get a quality scan at that size. In fact, if I select the lowest option on my scanner it is still larger than 50 KB and the scan is horrible. Thanks.

I upload mine from photbucket. It is very easy...

Yes you go to photobucket open free account, open browser to find the photo and then upload it to the site from where you copy and paste to the message.
