Former Senator George Mitchell released a blistering report Thursday that tied 89 Former Major League Baseball players, including JOE PRESKO, GUS NIARHOS, SHERM LOLLAR, DICK SISLER, KARL OLSON, ED FITZGERALD, FERRIS FAIN and BOB ROSS, to the use of illegal, performance-enhancing drugs. The report used informant testimony and supporting documents to provide a richly detailed portrait of what Mitchell described as "baseball's 50's steroids era."

The above named, ALL BEING SOLD BY RANDY AS PART OF HIS EXTRA '52 AUTOGRAPHED SET ON EBAY AND BEING ADVERTISED AS "STEROID FREE" PLAYERS, were the most prominent names on a list that included seven other former most valuable players as well as players from all teams. The list included more than a dozen players who have had significant roles with the Yankees, and more than a dozen Mets (although the Mets didn't even exist back then), too. It also included 11 players alone from the 1952 Los Angeles Dodgers (Even though they are still in Brooklyn.)
