The top pic bears a Latin line from Vergil: Rerum pars altera adempta est. (That half of their cause is fallen) - relating to the destruction of the Trojan fleet; the pic is unclear, but it seems to portray a shipwreck. The date 1659 is at the bottom.
On the bottom pic, I can read the Latin word "imminet", but nothing else.
