Do you feel like I do ?

Let it be said that baseball is more than a feeling. Some even say it's kind of like paradise by the dashboard light. However, this highway to hell it's been on lately has been a heartbreaker for many. Will fans still rock steady, or will baseball become dust in the wind to some ? Will Boston and Chicago still have it's heart ? Will fans still be goin' to california ? Has baseball become too bad to the bone ?
Will your money still support MLB, or over time have you become comfortably numb to these pigs ?

A sense of resignation and weariness has set in for me over the whole steroid thing. Baseball in the end is all about stats, more
so than any other sport I can think of and the steroid issue cuts into the heart of what the game is all about for so many people.

MLB is going to have to figure out exactly how they are going to deal with records set during the steroid era, should they just pretend
that nothing happened or put everyone in that time frame into a seperate "suspect" category?

I'll still be going to numerous games. I love the game of baseball and I can't think of too many things that could keep me away from this sport in one shape or form, whether it's MLB, MILB, College, High School, Wooden Bat Summer League, etc.

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.

Young man, there's a place you can go.
I said, young man, when you're short on your dough.
You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time.

    She had that Camarillo brillo
    Flamin out along her head,
    I mean her mendocino bean-o
By where some bugs had made it red

    She ruled the toads
    Of the short forest
    And every newt in idaho
And every cricket who had chorused
    By the bush in buffalo

She said she was a magic mama
And she could throw a mean tarot
And carried on without a comma
That she was someone I should know

She had a snake for a pet
    And an amulet
And she was breeding a dwarf
    But she wasnt done yet
    She had gray-green skin
    A doll with a pin
I told her she was allright
    But I couldnt come in
(I couldnt come in right then...)

And so she wandered through the door-way
Just like a shadow from the tomb
She said her stereo was four-way
An I'd just love it in her room

Well, I was born to have adventure
So I just followed up the steps
Right past her fuming incense stencher
To where she hung her castanets

She stripped away her rancid poncho
And laid out naked by the door
We did it till we were un-concho
And it was useless any more

She had a snake for a pet and an amulet
And she was breeding a dwarf
    But she wasn't done yet
    She had gray-green skin
    A doll with a pin
I told her she was allright
    But I couldn't come in
(actually, I was very busy then)

(is that a real poncho...i mean
    Is that a mexican poncho
Or is that a sears poncho?
    Hmmm...no foolin ...)

"Camarillo Brillo" is a song by Frank Zappa and was first included on his 1973 LP Over-Nite Sensation. The song's lyrics make use of many colloquialisms and made-up words. The title itself is a pun; Zappa incorrectly pronounces Camarillo, the name of a city in California, to rhyme with Brillo, a trade name associated with cleaning pads. "Brio" is also a musical term meaning "vigor".

"Camarillo Brillo" is in the key of E major, though the key briefly changes to D major during the chorus. The song employs liberal use of brass instruments and a wide range of percussion techniques. It ends with a short coda played on piano.

In 1975, "Muffin Man" was introduced to Zappa's live repertoire, and "Camarillo Brillo" was subsequently played as a medley with the former.
