He is guaranteeing it, but the rims do not look either thick enough or square enough...what says the Posse????

1) Field surfaces do not scream 'matte' to me;
2) Inner obverse rims beveled at 4-6:00 O'Clock;
3) Rims as a whole uneven;
4) NO recognized diagnostics on either side (larger photo would help);
5) Strike looks high end MS, but not PR;
6) And the last survey reason ... The coin is not certified by a major grading service!!!! (Which is very inexpensive and easy to do, if the coin were really authentic). Why would anyone give away a potentially valuable 1909 MPL for almost nothing?? HHHHHHMMMMMMMMM........
I asked this seller if he had any close-up pics of the diagnotics...he replied...sorry..no I don't !

<< <i>Looks like he got $805...I wonder how long before we see it back for sale again, especially when the new owner finds out what he just bought.

OUCH!
Looks like in his listing he's offering a contact number for a dealer that verified it as a cleaned matte proof... anyone contact the seller to confirm that and/or to out that dealer???

A cleaned matte.
So what now? A pcgs Gennie which is pretty much useless for registry?, or an ANACS "cleaned" kiss of death slab?
Or do you always carry that dealers phone number around so when somebody questions your coin you can say..."call this guy he will tell you its a MPL"
