I wouldn't doubt Butch Davis. I'm not saying they'll be a top 10 team, but they'll definitely NOT suck. They were 8-5 last season, so they're already pretty good.
LSU was #1 according to ESPN and CBS sports.

Yep, saw those too. You can pretty much take the three main recruiting sites rankings, and they'd all have primarily the same rankings for the top 30 or so. Each team is probably within about 5 spots of the Scout ranking I posted on each site too. I know my Bulls are 24 on Scout, 30th on Rivals and 25th on ESPN (I think).
