I am looking for some information on encased coins. Can anyone direct me to reference material or an individual who specializes in this area. Attached is an ebay lot that recently closed. it's an encased Barber dime in very nice condition. My curiosity is peaked and I want to learn more. I'm really not sure what forum is appropriate to list this question, so I will try it here and in the World section. Any help would be most appreciated.
