.......and quite beautiful! One of my favorite reasonably priced coin designs of the 20th century. I picked these up this week.

Very nice Doogy, I do like the sower design and that first one looks like it has some lovely toning.

Beautiful! I like these too. In fact, I won this 1919 2F NGC MS65 last night from NEN's eBay auction:

very nice! in fact, I was the underbidder.
congrats, nice piece!
Personally, I like this series due to the artistic merit, the fact that many seem to have picked up attractive toning and their relatively low price compared to many other types of coins from this era. a win-win all around!
congrats!

That 1920 is a very nice example-love the toning!

Great looking coins, that 1920 is sooo nice. I've noticed the French have very artistic coins and banknotes with clean balanced designs.

it has been said, that Adolph Weinmann used the Sower as inspriation for the walking liberty half.

Aye! There is a good chance that the earlier 'Ceres' head coinage inspired the U.S. barber designs as well.

Great coins. That '20 looks like it has some really great luster!
I've always gotta be a boob and remind people of La Semeuse's equally lovely Romanian step-sister
