Nice coin but the toning looks a tad, shall we say..."forced".

Nope, it's for sale on a coin dealer's site!!
<< <i>Goldbully,
what is your opinion of the toning, NT or AT? >>
Was slabbed by PCGS!!
<< <i>Strong color on a coin that barely makes XF >>
Love that "old school" grading!
However, I will say that it is an EF-45, depending upon how much luster there is in hand...

Go to Early United States Coins - to order the New "Early United States Half Dollar Vol. 1 / 1794-1807" book or the 1st new Bust Quarter book!

Why does everyone keep saying this? Just because it is slabbed by PCGS means absolutely nothing as far as either grade or toning type. The only thing I can say that they get right 99.9% of the time is whether or not it is a counterfeit.
Please everyone, stop relying on TPG's and learn something about the coins!!!!

I agree!
I hold true with my grade of 40.
Edited to add: this coin is miles away from AU regardless of what the holder says.
