As far as I know, all 40% Ikes were Var. I. The same with the 3 Pc. Proof Set.

Correcto Mundo!

All the 40% Silver Clad 1976-S BiCentennial IKEs were of the Type 1 Variety, both proof and business strike.

However, there could be a nice DDO Kennedy in one of those sets!

There are two versions of this; one made to mint set standards
packed in a sleeve with a white stripe and a rarely seen one run
off on high speed presses and all scratched up. The second one
was made in huge numbers but most were destroyed. They are
sometimes sold at a discount since they are so ugly.
