IMHO coins like that ( which I feel are still nice)and a less desirable holder is why ANACS lost out on the battle with PCGS. ANACS used to slab any coin that was market acceptable and I cannot count the cir-unc silver I have seen blast white in them. It must have been par for the course to dip&submit. I have always been sickened by the 100+++ year old silver in those slabs that looked better then a 64 dime. Not to bring up the fact that the dealers would then ask PQ prices stating that they are problem free. I once asked to see a 1839 o/o bust half (when I thought it was a rare die pair) that was an blast white ef40 in a problem free holder. He wanted AU money which was around 500 at the time. I thought he was joking. That Dime was dipped before going in there and might not be a true MS and would most likely never cross. Still an impressive survivor of the Carson city mint though.
