Great Wives - OT

NOT trying to take this thread to any depths that I know it could go. I am sure most of us think we are married to the greatest wives for a variety of reasons... but I just got a two year PSA renewal for my birthday from my wife! Thus one more reason my wife is #1!

My wife makes me a better guy...She's beautiful and gave me 2 awesome babies....And she has great family too....but I also found out after we got married that she used to collect cards!!!!! Click here to see,

My wife bought me a 1 yr membership for Christmas in 07.

It was not renewed this year, by the way.

my wife bought me an 83TT darryl strawberry for $100 back in the days before grading.

she saw me sell this as a PSA 8 for $30 a few years ago and swears she will never buy me a card again. we laugh about this all the time.

she gets irritated at me occassionally when i'm "reviewing" cards but she knows i like it and she likes what i like (or at least makes me think that

). she has been great for 20+ years.

Guy Richie received b/t $50-60 milllion (euros) from her after the divorce proceedings were finalized, rumored to be 1 of the largest divorce settlements in history of divorce!!!

we spent our first year anniversary doing a card show from 8-9 (89 upper deck was the bomb) ...and she was a couple of months pregnant. now that's dedication.

I'd like to congratulate you on two things: First, your upcoming marriage. Second, for being a genius. Getting married on Valentine's Day totally kills two birds with one stone. Not only will your anniversary be easy to remember but you won't have to (hopefully) get separate gifts for an anniversary and Valentine's Day. I wish I had thought of that.

I suppose it wouldn't surprise anyone here after reading my comment above that my wife is obviously a better person than I am and I'm lucky to have her.

Thanks guys! The date was her idea, but she loves the date for the same reason I love it. Easy date to remember, one gift, and the best part is taking anniversary vacations to a warm climate during the bitter cold winters of northeast Ohio!

I felt bad for Heather and Paul. Clearly their marriage began on the wrong foot. It didn't take long for the public to figure out that something just wasn't right. The two never seemed to be in step with one another. But in the end, my sympathy was really with Paul and I thought the judge would lean in his direction too. I didn't think Heather had a leg to stand on during those divorce proceedings, but I was proven wrong.

I live in Mass and I don't drive. My wife has driven me to 100's of card shows in Mass, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire and as far as New York and never once complained about doing it. She is very supportive of my collecting because she realizes how happy and it makes me and that makes her happy. Plus she gets a bonus for putting up with me for 23 years.

She's the best...Donato

Larryallen - Happy Birthday!

Thank you. Actually not until the 15th of Feb but I think my mentioning, to my wife, how I wanted to have access to PSA website and get in a sub on the $5 January special caused her to give me my gift early. I had been without PSA access for a couple months and I found I missed it as I like having the pop report and stuff like that. I got 2 more years which means I get to find 12 random cards to send in for my first sub... and will be working to get some in on the $5 special also!

Linda McCartney was protesting w/ PETA over some seal furs being sold in London and wound up getting arrested.

The 2 policeman that arrested her noted that she was very resistant to being arrested and had to be tasered repeatedly. They also remarked how unphased by the tasering she was also. When they arrived to book her the police learned they had been tasering her prosthetic leg the entire time.

My wife got me a pelican case for my PSA slabs for Christmas. Sweet.
Today she asked me to take her to Santa Anita to play the horses ! I love her so much ! !
