Very interesting! I guess I could only imagine how your life would be different if Cal Ripken was drafed by the Yankees and Roy Smalley ended up playing in Baltimore...Oh I'm sorry, I probably just made millions of people sick to their stomaches.

I probably wouldn't have been a Ripken collector then. I was an Orioles lover first. In fact, Al Bumbry was my first favorite Oriole!

I think it's safe to say the Cal Jr had a calling to play for the O's....He had an incredible HOF career...set a record with his bro at second, and his dad got to manage too....Sounds like someone needs to write a book about Cal.
