Re-grades

When you guys send cards in for a re-grade, do you crack the card first or send the card in its holder? I would think you'd have better luck cracking and re-sending, but you run the risk of damaging the card. Just curious.

Send them in their holders first,
then crack out and resubmit the ones that didn't bump if you're still sure that they really deserve it.

Had an 8 that I though was a sure 9,
so I cracked it out and it came back a 7. Cracked it again and it came back a 7 again.

Must have gotten damaged somewhere along the line. Sure wish I still had it in that 8 holder ... image

Yes what Paul is saying is take advantage of the review service first.

The card v=can only bump (if deserved) not go down in grade.

If after that you still feel a card is under graded then crack and resubmit.

Me? I give them one shot at grading it is what it is.

My price reflects what I think the card should sell at.

    Or at least start at.

    Good for you.

Holder damage, I have a few cards that would lose a grade point or more because of it.
